The company was formed back in 1991. Being caravanners ourselves, we felt there was a need to supply a service to customers at their own home for servicing their caravans, to not have them inconvenienced by travelling miles to a dealer. This proved not only to be a successful idea but to establish a grounding to build the company we have now.

After only three years of going mobile, we had to find suitable premises to repair caravans indoors as the demand was so great. Firstly, we went to Carleton & then had to move to Keighley to larger premises. The workload increased yearly so another move to a trading estate in Addingham was on the cards. Alison my wife then took over total control of admin whilst I maintained the workshop side with the help of my son James. The opportunity then arose in 2005 to move to Ilkley and re-open the old JB CARA-CARS site. This is where we are now with a fully insurance approved workshop and large accessory department.

James is now full-time and Alison looks after the shop & office. We have also achieved the norths only Caravelair dealership, and still sell good quality second hand caravans & motorhomes.
